Nicholas is a college student of Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, New Jersey with dark brown hair, brown eyes, and caucasian skin. His favorite hobbies include video games (& video game music), internet, drawing and searching for the cryptid known as the Jersey Devil. He has Asperger's Syndrome (Autism) and ADHD and a survivor of Piloricks Stenosis. He is determined to prove the existence of Jersey Devil. He is very kind, friendly, and nice, but can be a little flustered when agitated and can sometimes think about himself.

Akumatization

While a hard worker (mostly with chores and college work) & a true Jersey Devil believer, he feels like he's either made fun of for believing in the Jersey Devil and that it's real, overworked or that he doesn't get taken seriously when he tries to prove the Jersey Devil's existence. He also feels like he is ignored sometimes and barely has any friends. He gets upset by those things, but he always tries to store them and try to calm down and feel better quickly. However, one day during a month of studying abroad in Paris, France, his infuriation reaches the boiling point. He was playing with his New Nintendo 3DS XL and heading to the mayor's office to show him his proof of evidence of the Jersey Devil on his PDA when Chloé Bourgeois asks him to carry her heavy shopping bags to her room. Chloé has been making fun of him, of how gullible and lonely he is, and how his work gets little rewards, and how pathetic he truly is. But Chloé went way too far by taking his PDA, seeing his Jersey Devil evidence and making fun of him for believing in a creature that doesn't exist, causing Nicholas to grow a strong hatred for Chloé & swipe his PDA back and putting his foot down and refuses to help her and tells her to do it herself, but then Chloé says that she'll "give him a lot of green" for his hard work and will believe that the Jersey Devil is real. Since he rarely gets any for his hard work and the only people that believed him were his friends at the Jersey Devil Believers Club back at USA, NJ, Nicholas makes a desperate decision and reluctantly accepts the offer. After a while, he carries all of the heavy bags and becomes exhausted. He then asks her to give him the green he was promised, but she gives him a bunch of green birch tree leaves. He says that wasn't what he wanted and she replies by saying "Well, it's a lot of green, and as for believing that the Jersey Devil is real, I lied." and insults him and laughs at him and heads to her room and slams the door right in his face.

Extremely infuriated and upset, Nicholas then heads to the park and holds his PDA and wonders what if Chloé was right, but refuses to believe her and still believes that the Jersey Devil exists and puts his PDA down to his side, still upset. Unfortunately, his negativity levels reached the point where Hawk Moth can sense it and sends an Akuma right to him. Nicholas doesn't notice the Akuma as it reaches to his PDA and possesses it. Hawk Moth says that he can give him the powers of the Jersey Devil cryptid to get the respect, the recognition (like friends and a romantic partner) and rewards (like video games, food and money) that he truly deserves and the proof of the existence of the Jersey Devil and to get revenge on the people who have disrespected him, and ridiculed him for his beliefs, provided that Nicholas can get the Miraculouses of Ladybug and Cat Noir for him. Nicholas gladly accepts this offer and makes Chloé his first target and transforms into the villain "Jersey Devil".

Design

Jersey Devil has a crimson red, cappuccino brown, jet black, and Egyptian sunrise gold color scheme. His hair is jet black, his eyes are Egyptian sunrise gold and crimson red, his mask is cappuccino brown, and his skin color is crimson red. Speaking of masks, he has an eye mask mark like some villains such as Stormy Weather, Lady Wifi, Guitar Villain, the Evillustrator, and Volpina, but it's more demonic looking and burglar like. His suit is similar to Cat Noir's, but with scaly & leathery bat wings, a forked tail, sharp claws, and hot rod flames.

He has dark maroon goat horns on his head, they are very pointy and spiral like.

His left arm and his right arm both have scaly scales covered in dark cappuccino brown fur all the way to the half of his wrists where it's all scales.

His shoes are basically jet black goat/horse/deer hooves.

Akumatized Object

The Akumatized object is his PDA (His PDA is birch silver at first, but turns crimson red when he is akumatized) He even has a case located on his right hip to carry it along with his New Nintendo 3DS XL.

Powers

His powers come from the Jersey Devil itself.

His horns gives him the ability to charge at anyone in his way. When charging, he can destroy walls and objects in the path.

He has the ability to emit a supersonic bloodcurdling scream-like roar that can break windows, ceramic, pottery, glass, porcelain and rocks and can even damage eardrums and break the sound barrier. He can even breathe fire and shoot fireballs from his mouth.

His wings give him the ability to fly, glide, and create huge gusts of wind by flapping them, they can even be used as weapons.

His claws allow him to slash through anything from skin, paper, wood, and plastic to rocks, bricks, iron, metal, steel, soft tissue, and even water, fire & cement.

His forked tail can be used for anything from grappling to attacking.

He has super hearing.

He can cause rapids when underwater by swimming very fast.

The PDA can be used to create fakes of him to confuse Ladybug and Cat Noir.

Weaknesses

His weakness is not on his body, but in his case. The PDA is the Jersey Devil's weak spot and runs on rechargeable battery power and if runs out of power, all fakes are immediately destroyed until he can get the PDA recharged. If the PDA is destroyed, he is de-akumatized and turns back to normal.

Defeat

Jersey Devil turns out to be one of the most toughest foes that Ladybug & Cat Noir have ever faced. However, he fails to recognize that his PDA has run out of power, but he decides to make a cocky decision and decides to finish the job himself without his fakes. He reaches the point where he is about to defeat them and take their Miraculouses, but then Chloé turns into Queen Bee with the Bee Miraculous and uses a stinger to pin him down by the tail. He struggles to get the stinger out of his tail so he can finish all 3 of the heroes off starting with Queen Bee, but with the help of a Lucky Charm, he is easily defeated and together Ladybug & Queen Bee destroy his PDA, freeing the Akuma and then Ladybug purifies the Akuma, turning him, his PDA, and everything else back to normal. However, Jersey Devil has made various appearances now and then, even though the Akuma was freed and purified.
